Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 23.11.2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dashlog ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, securely stores, and shares your personal information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our services, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, password, profession, and account titles.
  • Health and Biometric Data: Dietary protocols, caloric and macronutrient tracking, physical metrics, exercise routines, and subjective wellness data (e.g., mood, difficulty ratings).
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, device information, IP addresses, and log data.
  • Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment processing is handled securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to:

  • Provide, maintain, and personalize the Dashlog experience.
  • Facilitate data sharing between you and your explicitly authorized nutritionists or clinics.
  • Send essential transactional emails (e.g., password resets, login alerts, OTPs).
  • Send marketing communications (only if you have explicitly opted in).
  • Monitor system health, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Dashlog uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage mechanisms to provide core functionality. We use a secure authentication cookie to keep you logged in and local storage to remember your UI preferences (such as Light/Dark mode). We do not use non-essential tracking cookies or third-party marketing pixels within the authenticated application.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following scenarios:

  • Authorized Professionals: If you grant continuous data sharing access or join a Clinic workspace, your assigned supervisors will have access to your protocols and tracking data.
  • Service Providers: We utilize trusted third-party services (e.g., secure email delivery, hosting, payment gateways, and bot protection) that require limited access to perform their functions securely.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of Dashlog, our users, or the public.

5. Data Security and Retention

We implement robust technical and organizational measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data. We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service and comply with our legal obligations.

6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (Right to be Forgotten).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting us or managing your settings within the Dashlog application.
